Heath and Safety

TJ Environmental Services are fully aware of hazardous environments in which we work on a day-to-day basis. 

Not only does our work scope have Health and Safety issues to our staff and members of the general public in the vicinity, it also requires a high level of control and planning to minimise any potential environmental issues arising out of the companies’ activities.  

All contracts are assessed by a senior manager with due regard to health, safety and environmental Issues. 

For many of our contracts we require to undertake a site survey prior to submitting a tender. Such a site survey not only allows us to fully understand the customer’s requirements, but also allows us to make a complete and thorough assessment of the Health and safety and possible environmental concerns

On completion of a site survey and award of a contract, a detailed risk assessment and method statement are produced. These documents will detail what the risks are, and how we will undertake the tasks, in a way that we will reduce the level of risk to an acceptable level. 

All staff are provided with the required personnel protective equipment (PPE) and the correct safety equipment to undertake the job safely. 

TJ Environmental Services will not compromise on safety to reduce our costs. The price we will quote is a price that in our opinion allows for the job to completed in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
